Graeme Goldsworthy: Most Important Author in My Year

I'm about half way through Graeme Goldsworthy's Preaching the Whole Bible as Christian Scripture: The Application of Biblical Theology to Expository Preaching. And I am pretty sure that I am ready to say that Goldsworthy ranks as the most important author in my reading year. Earlier this year I read According to Plan: The Unfolding Revelation of God in the Bible and it was paradigm-shifting. Preaching the Whole Bible as Christian Scripture is building on the foundations laid in the first book. Few books have helped me understand how to approach the Old Testament like these two. Reviews will be forth-coming, Lord-willing. But since I spent the last hour or so in this book, I thought I'd post a brief blog and recommend Goldsworthy to the masses.
