Which Theologian are You?

Which theologian are you?

You scored as a Anselm

Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

Anselm 80%
Karl Barth 67%
John Calvin 67%
Friedrich Schleiermacher 60%
Jonathan Edwards 60%
Jürgen Moltmann 53%
Paul Tillich 40%
Martin Luther 40%
Augustine 27%
Charles Finney 27%

I took this quiz after seeing it over at Pondering Critically (where my friend and fellow-church member scored as Luther!). I'm kind of amused, because I've never read Anselm or Karl Barth! I would have expected to fall more in line with Jonathan Edwards or John Calvin.

It was an interesting quiz. I tied for Anselm and Luther but have not read much of Anself either except concerning his ontological proof and only then through Plantinga. I think that it also finds attitudes (not just doctrine). So if you have a strong aversion to things Catholic it throws you into Luther's camp. Just a guess on the algorithm

Marvel Superhero Personality Test:

You scored as a Captain America/Steve Rogers

Take it from a long term comic book fan, you could BE Steve Rogers.

Tall, Blonde, Military background, Muscles of steel. Yup. You're Captain America.

I'm dead?!
No wonder I'm so tired!
But I'm no longer blond.

And Luther, Anselm, Barth, et. al all died too!

I didn't like the quiz. I am a firm Calvinist and I came out as a follower of Luther.

Apparently, I am Karl Barth. A fellow I wasn't aware of but apparently not a bad guy to be associated with theologically.

I was very happy to see that Jonathan Edwards was my number two followed by Martin Luther.

Hey I am write on with Tim. I was 93% Barth, then 67% Edwards, the 60% Calvin. Interesting. I never heard of Barth before today.
